First Orienteering (Practice Event) in NSW

Sunday 14 November 1971

The first orienteering event in NSW was arranged as practice for a small contingent of New Zealanders about to compete in the first Australasian champs in Victoria in November 1971. Also in attendance were Rod Dominish & Dave Lotty, who went on to establish the first club and the sport of orienteering in NSW.
